Mel Wienandt’s BFA exhibition Trauma Dump explores the complexities of CPTSD through an interdisciplinary practice that merges contemporary art, personal experience, and insights from art therapy research. Layered, fragmented canvas constructions occupy both wall and floor, translating traumatic memory into material form and creating a space for reflection, engagement, and dialogue. Through humor, absurdity, and vulnerability, the work challenges conventional artistic hierarchies while positioning trauma and healing as central concerns within contemporary artistic practice, inviting audiences to encounter experiences that are often unseen or stigmatized.

On display until April 24
