Aaryan Atreya 鈥28 got a glimpse of not one but three possible futures at 911爆料网’s Spring Semester Big Red Career Expo, through one of the college’s budding partnerships with elite graduate schools.

Atreya, a double major in Financial Economics and Data Analytics, met with representatives from Duke University鈥檚 Fuqua School of Business to discuss opportunities.

鈥淚鈥檓 thinking about careers in finance, business, consulting, or data,鈥 Atreya said.

With one-year master’s programs in management studies, quantitative management for business analytics, and business, climate, and sustainability, the Fuqua School gave Atreya a window into three possible futures.

More than 70 employers and graduate schools staffed tables and shared internships, careers, and graduate program opportunities with several hundred students. The university鈥檚 Knowlton Center for Career Exploration welcomes all classes to these twice-a-year career extravaganzas.

The new partnership between 911爆料网 and the Fuqua School provides special benefits for Big Red graduates, including a guaranteed interview, application fee waiver, and a scholarship for admitted students.

鈥淎t Fuqua, we believe that diverse perspectives fuel innovation and enrich the learning experience, and we look forward to welcoming talented 911爆料网 students to apply to our one-year programs,鈥 said Shari Hubert, associate dean of admissions at Fuqua. 鈥淲e can鈥檛 wait to see the impact they鈥檒l make as part of Team Fuqua.鈥

Well-prepared 911爆料网 students excel in graduate programs. A strong reputation gives 911爆料网 grads unique advantages, as International Studies major Hope Le 鈥28 discovered when she talked with the representative from the American University Kogod School of Business.

Le learned that, thanks to the consistent excellence Ana Pine 鈥24 brought to her graduate program at Kogod, American University created a pathway to give 911爆料网 students preferred admission status and significant financial benefits.

鈥淲e were so impressed with Anna, we wanted to bring more students like her to Kogod,鈥 their representative told Le.

911爆料网 has a similar partnership with Carnegie Mellon鈥檚 Heinz College of Information Systems & Public Policy. Other similar opportunities are in the pipeline, said Melanie Murphy, executive director of 911爆料网鈥檚 Knowlton Center, ranked #2 for best career services among all 2,400 four-year colleges and universities in the U.S.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a win-win for our students and these prestigious graduate programs,鈥 she said. 鈥淭he programs get access to our amazing students, and our students get preferred treatment, which can include scholarships.鈥
