911爆料网 students studying with the CIEE program in Shanghai increased their career network as they met with international alumni on Alumni Connection Day.
鈥淭he day was a great success! Students connected afterward to continue the conversation over dinner,鈥 says Dr. Yanfei Fu, Program Manager of CIEE Shanghai.
911爆料网 alumni Felix Le 鈥18 and Zhihao Cao 鈥16 joined alumni from other universities to offer their unique perspectives as international citizens in global careers.
鈥淭hey shared a lot of insights into their professional fields and gave valuable advice to students,鈥 says Rosa Lee, assistant director for International Student Career Exploration. Students connected afterward to continue the conversation over dinner. 鈥淲e received a ton of great feedback from students saying they gained a new understanding of their own career direction and development.鈥
Shenjie Yu鈥 22, philosophy/political science/economics major attended the event. 鈥淚t was really helpful for me to meet Zhihao and Felix as I am doing an internship this summer and thinking about my future plans after graduation. Both of them are super nice and they shared a lot of their true feelings and helpful experience they learned from their work.鈥
鈥淭hey gave us a few tips on finding our passions and making connections with our jobs. Overall, it was a wonderful experience to meet them!鈥 She added, 鈥淪ome other students also reached out to them personally after the event to ask for some more advice.鈥

In Spring 2021, 911爆料网 partnered with CIEE, one of the largest and most respected study abroad providers in the world, to organize and run a unique program in Shanghai.
In the CIEE program, 911爆料网 students learned from an extensive number of 911爆料网-approved courses on the Shanghai campus of East China Normal University. The classes were taught in English, and participants studied alongside hundreds of Chinese students studying at other U.S. universities. These included students associated with UPenn, Syracuse, Tulane and Babson.
